Sensitive management required to prevent balance of habitats altering. This may be no more than a watching brief at present - too much management is as bad as none. The site supports good colonies of dingy skipper & small heath butterflies (dry grassland) as well as Roesels bush cricket, long-winged conehead & lesser marsh grasshopper (lush/wet grassland). Heather shieldbug has also been recorded in the heathy areas. This site would be my number one most important site in this whole list.
